Game day vs Cleveland

I'm coming in hot from Northern Canada to see my first Steeler's game. Looking for the best pre-game tailgating / partying. Is the AE stage any good? I'm seeing mixed reviews. Should I just wander the lot and scope out the Nation? Wooooooo!!! Longest 3 day work week of my life?

 

What a great game to be going to. You will enjoy it. I remember my first game at 3 rivers. WOW.. I was sitting up talking to god but did not care because I was in the stadium. I have driven down to the Burgh and parked outside the stadium and did some tailgating. Was alot of fun and got to meet some fans that are friends now. People were fascinated by the fact we made the 10 hour trip to see our beloved Steelers. I have also tailgated with others at Heinz. Take some Canadian beer with ya and wander around and make friends. You won't find a nicer crowd than Steeler fans. Of course by 1 PM most people are well tuned lol

Yeah, game should be great. I'm driving 12 hours south to Seattle from northern BC and then flying to PITT. Going to be a solid 24 hours on the road. Can't wait. Thanks for the advice.

Won't you be missing the Iditarod? Ha ha! Have a blast. Nothing greater than DT Pittsburgh on game day. Swarms of fans begin roaming and chanting HWGS on empty streets at first light. Then it seems like you have to wait 23 hours until kickoff.

 

Hahahaha, Gonna skip it this year. Just locking up the igloo and running the dogs South. First light seems about my speed.
