You think he's gonna come around? I have high hopes for him. We need a big guy in the middle.

I do. I think he just needs to learn one system and get some time in it. he has talent and has no idea how strong he is. I have seen him in practice just dominate olineman. some pretty good ones at that

That gives me hope. You know I'm not a big college fan and just sorta follow the Vols from a distance and from conversations I hear at work and church and things. This dude is just so huge it's hard to not be intrigued by him. I also like to see undrafted guys do well. It just kinda makes a mockery of all the "draft experts" and scores one for the little guy. Although this is probably the ONLY time McCullers has been the "little guy". LOL.

If DHB can figure out how to hang onto the ball our WR corp is going to be nasty. I think he see 5 snaps a game at WR just because of his speed

Agreed with his speed if he can hold onto the ball he could take so much pressure off AB. That would make our WR's so much harder to handle!!!

If the poor kid can stay injury free, the Steelers
will be a much better team if he see's the field.
He know's how to play football.

    Agreed.

When does waivers finish, anyone? Very keen to see us keep hold of Mauro.

The waiver claim period ends at 12:00 pm est. After that time, teams can start signing players to the practice squad.

Outside LB looks really thin....Man I hope those guys don't go down and have a productive season. Worilds is gone after this season (IMHO). Who's in the wings ready to step up?

I know and he's got speed. Man we seriously need him to be healthy. It just seems he can't catch a break. If he does wind up being able to stay on the field and even have a SOMEWHAT productive career he will probably always hold a special place in the heart of Steeler Nation. I can't really put him on a level with Rocky because Rocky was hurt in service to his country and came back but Spence has certainly shown that he's a really determined guy and you have to respect that.

ya gotta love the guys heart. he is also a talent which helps us be better. his body just isn't co-operating and we may always wonder what could have been. had he stayed healthy all this time and we still added shazier, it could have eventually been a better tandum than shazier and Timmons. this again is one of those injuries that can become worse down the road. he's still young though.
