That was pathetic by Garvin! We KNOW he can hit harder than that!

 

I didn't hear him but I knew he was going off because they said he was "getting an earful" I guess that's one way to put it. LOL.

 

Kay is like a statue in the pocket.

 

What is that weird symbol on Tomlin's sleeve? Oh it's a zipper! Dang that was killing me all night! LOL.

 

It's been said for awhile now... Playing with no heart. If Porter can't get their attention, then we've drafted a lot poorer for a lot longer than I thought. Can't coach speed, determination, or heart. Hope the lights go on.

 

He had one nice play where he backed completely out of the pocket and went around to the right. Reminded me a bit of how Ben moves around and extends plays. He is young yet. Time will tell if he can replace Ben. Personally I believe based on the VERY little bit we have seen of him he has learned more in his short time here in Pittsburgh then Landry has in 2 years. We shall see

I really just hope that some guys knew they had their spot locked up and were just going through the motions since most of the guys on the field won't be there after tonight. JJ played pretty good and Blake looked pretty good tonight. Paulsen looked bad and Palmer looked bad. Adams didn't have a very good game either.

 

Not too many people stuck out to me in this game. JJ had a good showing. Ventrone showed he's good on ST, but I doubt he gets a spot. McCullers had a couple plays. Our CB depth stinks. Carter showed some hustle. Wing actually had a decent showing except for 1 punt. But I still think we will be watching that waiver wire pretty closely for punters.

I'm not sure you can get the fire needed from the sideline. We are lacking that emotional leader on the field. Paging Mr. Harrison.

 

Yup and there is some red stiching that's really hard to make out. I zoomed in on it and it actually said something about raising hell.. I could not make out the rest

With a performance like tonight by the Steelers is the reason I don't waste my time watching the 4th preseason game.
