I hate to be the type of person who keeps harping on things but given the events of the off-season/camp/pre-season I feel like putting a poll out there. So be honest now which would you rather have?

    1) HBO Hard Knocks following them around all camp.
    2) The current laundry list of distractions that started during OTA's (Sander's comments, Clarks pot use comments, different minor legal troubles for team member) to Ben talking about team mates and having his words taken out of context to Clark's best secondary he has ever played with to the Starting backfield being picked up for having pot, driving after smoking pot and generally being dumber than two people should ever be?
    3) Neither just a quite time where everyone Shut the bleepity bleep up!

You and your Hard Knocks. :lolol:
Was there a distraction caused from that this year? I can't recall. I need a 4th option...everything in #2 except the pot bust. 3 is also nice, though. Stay out of trouble, do your work, be responsible...

To be honest I probably would even had brought it up but I saw someone say in one of the threads thursday night that these are well paid professional athletes no way to idiots getting busted for pot had an effect on their game. Which made me think really because apparently camera crews at camp would have been a huge distraction but having teammates busted wasn't. Just made me laugh and think about a poll. As far as the Ben thing wasn't there some story in OTA's where he said something and everyone was jumping on it totally out of context. Anyway it was just for fun, what can I say I like watching Hard Knocks is just the narrating that gets me everytime.

I wasn't going to have a third option but I figured I'd give everyone and easy out lol

I still want nothing to do with Hard Knocks :bscow:

You'll get your wish some day, Thorn, Steelers can't duck it forever. Unfortunately.

    *edit*

Ok, that wasn't entertaining, couldn't get my computer to play it at first, I thought he rapped it :lolol:

    Come on Snoop! Slacker.

What I find compelling about the show and frustrating at the same time is that in just five episodes they engineer some great story lines that get you to relate to rookies, feel for veterans trying to return from injury and cheering for bubble players to make the 53. I remember watching the Bengals first go around and really pulling for some underdog guys to make the final cut. Same thing last season looking at a guy like Aaron Maybin who had a solid college career, drafted high by the Bills never really translated his game and was willing to do anything to make the roster or John Conner, man he won his camp battle with a converted TE but because he didn't have as high of a ceiling as the TE did and so he was cut. Just from a football fan's view some compelling stuff.

Just one more thing about Hard Knocks and I will shut up about it. I was watching the second episode today and at one point during the WR's meeting Matt Ryan comes in and asks if he can sit in for a minute and wants to talk about two passes and they look at them and he admits to being wrong and Harry Douglas being right aadn what they need to do to get on the same page. It was a very cool moment that yes I would love to see how things go in Latrobe and after they break camp, I think it would really bring the fan base even closer to the team.

Wow, how did I end up editing the wrong post, must have been hitting Snoops dope

About Hard Knocks, it may be a good show, probably is but I've never seen it. I would of course watch it if the Steelers ever do it, just prefer that doesn't happen.
