Steelers Vs. Eagles: Week 3 Preseason Game Day Thread

It's more that soft Steelers defense making Sanchez look good.

 

That's where Lebeau should be ,sitting on a cushion on his rocking chair.

 

Lmao their back ups are kicking our asses. But he preseason doesn't matter they will just magically flip a switch and be a top ten defense.

 

The commentary continues to be egregeeous.....

 

That line is giving him a clean pocket and time to find that open man. simple plays making the defense looked horrible, and no pass rush at all.

 

Well just look at how many big plays we have given up. Casey was awesome in the run game.

 

Cleveland may just go Hoyer-Manziel first half/second half. Give both QB's some confidence heading into the meat of their schedule....

 

There's no time to get to the QB when you are giving his WRs a free run through our secondary.

 

I'm beginning to think that the vast quantity of flags thrown against us is not a conspiracy but a trace marker that our players such.

 

The game has changed. It's 65% passing now even on early downs. You have to be able to play the run on the way to the QB. We can't do either.

 

Yeah Johnny is probably watching this thinking "dude if SANCHEZ can do it I KNOW I can!"

The way we look, I would think it would be hard to keep 53 on the roster....

 

I'm absolutely disgusted after this game. They look like they just don't care. I love Lebeau but it's time to Lego. He isn't fooling anyone and giving a 10 yard cushion just doesn't work in the NFL anymore. It took awhile but the game has passed him by.

 

but that is the choice they made, get talent on the front seven and not in the secondary. They need pressure to make that secondary look better than it is. there is no pressure

Yeah because we really haven't seen them bring the house with success. Also we've not seen EITHER qb look confused. DL used to stifle the crap out of qb's.

I've always felt that even when we had a good d that our secondary was the weak link. I've just thought that the front seven covered up a lot of what was behind them.

 

Hears a hot stock tip! If they play this bad in regular season buy Seagram's stock because I alone will increase their sales!

 

You can't really pressure anyone when easy throws are there for the taking on 3 step drops.
