I'm getting concern with Jones rolling out of practices..On the 8th under the lights he went out with groin...carried over to mon. no practice groin and yesterday out again with groin. Each time Tomlin says it's not an issue..when does it become an issue how many missed practices justify?

I'm hoping big things from Jones this year, wanted him to get good quality time in Training Camp i suppose will see the results.

I will say that when I was at camp, Aug. 3, he was icing the groin afterwards. He signed my daughter's boyfriend's hat, but had to have another player come and get it and take it to him because he had a bag of ice stuffed down his pants.

I just bought a JJ jersey so I really hope he gets healthy! Actually, the jersey doesnt matter. I just want him to be healthy.

So he was dealing with it back on the 3rd interesting, sounds like the ice pack has become part of his uniform. Yes Jersey's don't come cheap i purchased an Authentic, the player is still on the roster though have one that's not but makes no diff. i still wear it. :smiley1:

I can tell you that at Georgia his practices were less than impressive. including his workouts before draft. he always showed up at game time. not much for practice

Think I am getting concerned on overall preparation as a whole. Last year and the year before that it seemed as though injuries were an issue. Not only just injuries but key injuries.

Warren is out for 4 weeks and Jones is nursing a groin which apparently has been nagging him since the early part of training camp. Shazier has a boo boo that has become more then a boo boo.. Yes it's preseason however some of the best experience and training for the rooks is to have in game experience. Very difficult to do that if your in the tub.

Not yelling fire yet but it looks very much like seasons past

A lot of players are dealing with groin injuries, no need to be worried yet.

I went to camp 2 weeks ago and JJ didn't impress much either. "I hear he had a nice sack against the Giants though, who knows? Guess he isn't much of a practice guy?

you speak the truth :lolol: The issue is more about who gets injured with me. Couple of key players go down especially leaders and suddenly to use a boxing metaphor " your on the ropes"

I guess we will see how Sat goes and take each day and game one at a time.

What day were you there? I was there on Aug. 3rd and posted the same thing. He made me VERY nervous and I felt like the was getting pushed around by the TE's.

Porter has to help him develop and inside move, otherwise the tackles are just going to sit on his outside move. He already tied his sack total in pre season, hopefully its a sign of things to come.

    okay
i'll give you guys and Mr Jones the benefit of the doubt

the Mannings do have severe cases of happy feet and are quite awkward acting and looking at times
