    When you turn on the very first airing of a preseason game, and they show you the final score in the first quarter! :applaud:

    :facepalm::facepalm::facepalm::facepalm::facepalm:

    Common sense strikes again. Also, they seemed to edit ONE play so far, which was an 8 yard sack by us? WTF?

    So glad I avoided television and the internet for those 5 hours.

    I had to watch it on NFLN too...for some reason my DVR screwed up and didnt record the live version. Luckily for me...when I seen they were doing one of those updates i quickly turned the channel just when they were showing it. Each time they did an update I'd change it. Kind of stupid...but at the same time the game had been over for a couple hours and such...but yeah for those of us who don't want it spoiled it sucks.

    It's a preseason game. Many people don't have the option of watching it live. I taped it and fast forwarded all breaks, but they showed the score on the screen right on top, and for long enough that I saw it anyway. From the time the game started, I avoided any possible spoiler outlet until I could watch the first airing. I shouldn't have to also ask a family member to fast forward or mute the TV while I close my eyes.

    I don't see a benefit to spoiling a game you are just now showing for the first time. It's just inconsiderate.

    i for the first time ever agree.. they gave the final score at the end of the first quarter... but i had kinda glanced at the score earlier and thoughtit was 20-16 but that first QT update confirmed it .. that did suck ..part 2 of your post is just the typical everyone is out to get the steelers conspiracy thinking ...

    No, it was wondering why they chose a sack to erase. If they were pressed for time and needed to get it down to 3 hours, there were plenty of one yard runs and neutral zone infractions to cut.

    Anyway, if I was coming at it from a conspiracy angle, would it really be so hard to imagine? It was a Giants game with Giants coverage. They barely acknowledged the Steelers. If it was up to those announcers, they'd have skipped every positive play for the Steelers.

    Here you go, Snack. The videography in general was pretty poor, but that's preseason for ya.

    The only way it could be better (for the NFLN) would be for Johnny to come out, and then, move in with Sams! Just imagine how giddy the announcers would be!

    yeah it sucks watching after you knw the score even though its pre season... but to know it ended 20-16 and the scre is say 10-3 ... you knw they are going to score 10 more ... a TD and FG and we are going ot score 13 more.. probably a TD and 2 FGs or with the new longer XP maybe we score 2 TDs and miss an extra point... but its stilll beter than game 7 of a world series unless the bucs are in it .. and was great to evaluate some fo the new guys... archers run was the most fun thing in sports since december 2013...

    Thanks TTF! That was by far the best sack we've ever seen from him, and it was a pretty good one. Burned the LT pretty good. I wouldn't exactly say it's no big deal, either, as suggested by a couple others. Jarvis had ONE move last year, and every LT knew it, so it was easy to stop. This was good hand use and a different move. He didn't have many chances to rush the passer last night, and he still worked this in. I take it as a sign of things to come.

    Speaking of things to come, I also like the power and athleticism I saw from Tuitt, on this play and a couple others.

    I also enjoy NFL Network's way of handling preseason highlights: "Here's the one play that the starting QB played for, and it was an incomplete pass. The game ended 63-56, or something like that. Now on to the next highlight."

    No actual, you know, highlights, unless it's by a "known" player.
