That does suck. What also sucks is the giant middle finger the 5 NW counties get every time a Bills game is on. Probably not as bad as south central PA, where only Ravens games are on most of the time.

South Central PA is getting hosed. Can't disagree there. (And Heir Goodell doesn't care since he does whatever the --- he wants. And it drives up Sunday Ticket sales. :goodell::godell:)

Exactly. That is why I go to training camp. I want to see what we have and what the position battles are.

The game will be on NFL Network at midnight but if you watch the live game, I am sure they will have a look in to our game :herewego!:

That's when I start going back to Buffalo Wild Wings. I was pretty much a regular there last season. One of the waitresses would always come over and talk to me, as she was the only Steelers fan working there. They're food is kind of lousy and overpriced, but it's a great place to watch a game. Although since I don't really drink when I'm out, I usualy just get a soda. And they switched to Pepsi. Boo. :sigh:

I understand for Preseason games, but for the life of me I can't understand why people just don't get the Sunday Ticket for the regular season games?

Probably because it's only available to directtv customers.

I live in a apartment building and a lot of them won't let you get satellite tv, your only option is cable and you can't get Sunday ticket.

It appears that dtv has loosened their grip a bit. They are now allowing people that live areas where dtv is not available and those within apt buildings to purchase online streaming. Plans start at $200.

Right, it's not ideal for lots of people.

However, you don't need to be a Directv subscriber anymore. It's not perfect, but it's available. https://www.directv.com/DTVAPP/nflws/

I had the online version last year, and honestly, I wasn't very happy with it. I have good broadband speeds and there were often quality issues. Maybe it was bad luck for me.

Sunday Ticket is awesome but I can see how it would be a problem for some to obtain it. Which really sucks because no fan should have to miss a Steelers game :herewego:

Excellent point! Hadn't thought if it that way.
That would suck though. I can't imagine not being able to watch every game. Before the Sunday Ticket days I used to go to a local sports bar to catch the games.

I go to the sports bar sometimes or I will watch the redzone channel they show all the TDs. It's hard to watch a whole football game on a computer for me the quality of the video usually isn't good on those streaming sites.

When we had our RV I had a portable directv dish on a stand and 150' of cable. Don't care where we went I could always get a siginal.
I like going to a sports bar once in a while. I've built my Man Cave to resemble a Steelers Sports bar. Makes the games more fun with the group of Steeler fans that come over for the games!

Not every Steeler fan can afford it.
Looks like I`m gonna be pretty lucky this year, with most games being available, in my area.
The ones that aren`t, are gonna be late in the season, and I will go to the local sports bar, to watch them.
As much as I love football, I gotta pay the electric, and gas, with the 45 bux/mo, that direct tv wants, for me to watch every game...:herewego!:

I'd sell a Kidney before I went without Sunday Ticket !
I do understand the financial aspect of it though. I found that I spent as much money at the sports bars if not more than the cost of the Sunday ticket.
I wish they would do individual games instead. I'm going to the Bucaneers game this year and we have five prime time games, plus I'm sure we'll get a couple nationally televised games in my area as well. That's half the season right there.
