he is a kick and punt returner also. I doubt at this point there is much chance for him but he should see preseason action.

I was thinking maybe they just liked his name. Since they had such good luck with another Bobby? Shaw a few years ago. Reason I mention this was I was a little upset when he left. But later I found out that he actually took a pay cut to leave. He figured he had a better shot at being a starter where he went. But actually Pit offered him a contract worth more than he signed for. Turns out Pit was right again. His best role was that of a situational player.

Damn! Surprising how often Pit turns out to be right. Considering that me and probably many others, from what I read, really think they have no clue.:smiley1: Just kidding. Actually it is amazing at how often over the years when I am positive about something that might differ from the action taken ---Oops! Wrong again.

btw: for a couple years I was putting TS for [the Steelers]. Since it seems that you have to say the Steelers a bushel of times in every post. Then someone started doing PS. That really seemed to make more sense. But I don't like to copy so now for me Pit = [the Steelers]

PS usually means practice squad....at least that's what I always write for the PS....I mean the practice squad. See what I did there ? LOL :smiley1:

Absolutely PS is always how to do the practice squad. But if the content is like the PS signed so and so today then you know they're talking about TS [the Steelers]. I only stopped doing TS because once I forgot to clarify it the first time in the post and someone replied "What's this TS crap" or something like that. Actually I probably should have done tS since "the" is not capitalized.

Uhh! I didn't like the PS thing either. I thought it was too formal. It also could be confusing. For example. The PS signed Shaw to the PS yesterday.:smiley1: TS signed Shaw to the PS or tS signed Shaw to the ps. Nope I really think Pit is okay even though it sounds more like newspaper talk rather than fan talk. But it will have to do because typing tS dozens of times is too much.:smiley1:

You really need to simplify :lolol:

PS (practice squad). There, done. We're on a Steelers forum, anyone who doesn't know what team you are referring to only has the intelligence level to root for the Ravens. Down the hall please.
