I'd be impressed if it wasn't Paulson. Half kidding. Seems like his knee is doing alright. :rawk:

I was there last night...and I thought Spence looked good...he definitely had a solid showing in the backs on backers...pads were popping as they say, haha...he wasn't holding back. Plus he's a super nice guy i found out after listening to him talk to fans for a few minutes.

Spence is a gamer too, he is not just a practice player. When the lights come on, so does he.
    Come on Sean.

From what I've been hearing, all the ilbers have been flying all over the field and making plays....... Some really tough decisions are gonna have to be made

it's probably a tough thing that spence is going through. on one hand the joy of knowing you have made it back on to the field defying the odds, and on the other hand he wants to not get hurt again so he can play his first season in the NFL.

I know he can't worry about getting hurt, but that has to be in the back of his mind at this point. it's a little over a month out for real games. I'm sure he wants to see that. a definite log jam of LB'ers, so he can only play so cautiously. I feel for the kid and hope all goes well.

it's probably a downer too that they drafted a guy for what he feels is his spot. Williams was different. I'm not sure he could feel that way about him, but to then bring in a first rounder, leaves him having to fight for his NFL life. I bet a lot of emotions are going on in that young mans mind. I think it will make him tougher. the kid always succeeded against the odds, I don't think that will change for him.

Lizard, didn't say they were better or even comparable, only that they are the 2014 Version.

He's surpassed Greg, he didn't suffer anything nearly as catastrophic to his knee as Spence did. He was never even supposed to reach this point.

    Hope he earns a hat.

Exactly. I'm really pulling for him but damn, that was a horrible injury. So far so good though. It will be quite the story if he makes the 53 (which I believe he will) and competes all season long.

They rebuilt the knee, they can do that. The nerve was damaged and that they can't truly fix. It has to fix itself and if it doesn't he'll be lucky to walk normally. Forget running like an athlete.

The Nerve seems to be good to go. He's flying around with speed. He always had a solid head for the game, knowing where and when to be somewhere and he's been studying this defense for a couple years now. He'll make the 53, he'll be the 1st ILB off the bench and he'll be on ST like a heat seeking missile.

With all the speed we now have we better have a ST that finishes in the top three this year.

    Go Steelers!!!!!!

Good to hear. I've been pulling for him to make a splash after his recovery. I can't wait to see more of what he can do and hope all of the waiting pays off.

The man knows how to play football, Student
of the game always around the ball.
If he stays healthy he will make contributions to the team. Go Sean!
