from everything I've heard Johnson is playing well in camp. contrary to what this article says.

time will tell if gilbert gets on track. the last time we heard about gilbert working out was when pouncey had to get on him in gilberts rookie year. now it's a contract year. gilbert did come in at a time when max, colon, kemo, Essex and foster were the head of the o-line and I've always felt that group didn't work hard to stay in shape. they all had big guts hanging out and seemed to get fatter as the season went. foster still has that look. maybe that rubbed off on gilbert. it sure seemed like it.

now we have workers. DD, beachum, Johnson and even the change I've seen in hubbard. maybe the new breed of steeler linemen will show him the way.

I don't care what his reason is, as long as he plays well.

Yeah sounds like he is not going to relinquish his spot as the starter. Good for GIlbert. Glad to see he is getting after it.

Adams is going to be the back-up or be replaced.

Yeah i'm glad to see he's finally coming along too. Doesn't look too good for Adams, who lately i've been hearing a lot of negativity about. I actually had more faith in Adams turning things around than with MG, but i'm all for whoever has the right stuff. ;)
