I read the tweets also Bryant was catching everything in the redzone today, if this guy develops he will be a great target for Ben.

He looked decent last night too...he almost had one nice catch like twisting coming back in mid air for the ball...but it was thrown inches short...awesome effort though.

    Cool pic.

Notice how Sellers is walking over to break it up like, "Oh, hell no..." :lolol:

Joking aside, the dude is in almost every pic I see now since he was brought up the other day.

Steelersrule6, that author posted this about Bryant in an article last night.

"Speaking of Bryant, he is maddeningly inconsistent. On one play, he will glide by a defensive back to make a beautiful reception, and on the next, he will let a simple pass slip right through his hands. One that went off his hands was nearly intercepted by Troy Polamalu."

It could be the case of a young player thinking too much.

Yeah Bryant is a rookie, he is raw, but it is all overwhelmingly positive for him. I just came back from Latrobe, he looks darn good.

he is going to contribute this year, no doubt in my mind.

the one slipping through his hands was also a really bad pass from the qb. It was high and wobbly.

Archer made Timmons look silly all four times during passing drills, Timmons couldn't keep up with him. Timmons is no slouch, that is some serious speed Archer has.

Timmons is one of the best coverage LBs in the league, and over the offseason he lost weight and is apparently even faster than before. But there's no way in hell he could ever cover Archer. If we EVER get that kid lined up on a linebacker, it's easy yards.

Bryant is very raw, but I think he has more upside than Wheaton. I have high hopes for this kid

Yep. In college, safeties couldn't stay with him either.

Bryant may have been a first rounder if not for his receiving mate at Clemson. He'd have had more opportunities and higher production if Watkins, one of the best WRs to come out in the last decade, hadn't been there. He's cut in the mold of Julio Jones, Roddy White and AJ Green. I'm really excited about watching this guy develop!

Colbert and CO have done a great job of drafting WRs. Yeah they missed on Sweed but I don't think you could have predicted just how much of a head case he reallywas.

he sure creates a dilemma for defenses. just how to match him up as he sets up in one spot and moves to another. then it changes who is covering anyone else out there. are they going to leave songle coverage or a safety on AB? moore? Bryant? wheaton? heck, i'll take any of those matchups too. this kid just creates a whole new addition to the whole offense. far better than rainey or LHS. it is the concept they were after though.

I love Heath and Bell, but when this team goes 5 wide: A. Brown, Wheaton, Bryant, Moore, and Archer, that is some SERIOUS speed.

I think maybe you're jumping the gun on the Julio and AJG comments. Bryant has never shown an ability to be on the same level as those guys. I think he has a ton of upside, but saying he can be a top 3 WR in the leauge is a bit much at this point.

With Archer and Bryant this offense will be tough to stop.

All depends how fast he picks up the playbook. There is more to being a WR then just running routes. I think you will see most of his work being done in the redzone this year.

If Bryant can score TDs in the redzone as a rookie that's fine, until he refines his game to be a complete WR. He will most likely be going against the opponents 3rd or 4th best CB too, advantage Bryant.

I have no problem with that, hope he scores a bunch of them. I just don't expect him to have a Keenan Allen type rookie year, the guy that is on SD I think.

I wanted them to draft him, worthy gamble.

Time will tell if it pays off.
