I respect the Pouncey's desire to have a good time, but perhaps they should consider something different next year. A Kayaking trip through Idaho's back country comes to mind. :)

Here's a photo from their Friday night shindig.

I am not asking trying to be a smartass or anything. can someone explain the fascination with tattoos? I mean I don't get covering your whole body in ink.

Not trying to be one either, but is anyone familiar with gang tattoos or hand signs? A couple of those signs might be questionable.

That whole photo is questionable. I'm not familiar with tatts from the south east or the hand signs but in my professional opinion Yes they are, especially the white boys hand sign. Problem is now everyone thinks their a gang member so alot of people throw signs. If they tried that say on Crenshaw blvd they would regret it; no wait there realitives would regret it.

I don't get why a person makes it to such a high professional level making millions of dollars and the fisrt thing they do is impersonate some thug in a hood. I guess I'm getting old but Pouncy's contract needs to be ammended to ban him from all clubs till he retires.

I thought that was the Hook'em Horns sign:shrug: maybe they let some Texas boys party with them.

Neither of those are gang signs or anything to cause any violence, two if them are peace signs and the others may be a sign that represents a group or an area they're from but definitely not a gang sign

Tattoos are a late fashion, it's like the thing to do "now days", just because you don't understand why, doesn't mean you should judge them

I'm surprised how amateurish those tattoos look. Come on guys, get some good talent working on those things!

Back on point though, is it now common place and acceptable to walk around in clubs with shirts off? I'm just pointing out that most of the guys who tend to do that walk around the bar with an inflated ego and tend to end up in altercations more than not.

Even saying that, I find it highly suspect that the accusers, who were at a party thrown by and advertised by the Pounceys. took so long to figure out who the guys were that "Allegedly" beat them up!

Obviously no one is questioning the peace signs or even the rock on sign, or whatever that represents these days, could be Texans as someone as mentioned :lolol: But there are two signs in there that could be and unless anyone here is in a gang, whos to say.

listen in my opinion you get that may tattoos, play in the nfl, and go around in public with a shirt off you are asking to be judged in some way.

    That's a very good point.

There's enough bread crumbs historically to at least be reasonably curious about gang signs and symbols, IMO.

Yeah, pretty apparent attempt at a money grab by someone who was beat by 6 giant men with only a chipped tooth to show for it. More likely, the drunk fool fell down and chipped his tooth and said, oh look, the Pouncey brothers, lets make some money, assault assault!

Late Fashion? That's dumbest reason I've ever heard for getting something so forever permanant. And Yea I do judge them.

Not all Tats are bad but there is no doubt that some people on this planet look like they came from a different one. I'm just not sure what they're really trying to express.

I can always tell who among us is of the older set, like me. We just don't "get it." We were raised in an age before PCs, before cell phones with cameras, before tats were popular, before Twitter, before digital music, etc. Thank God, as a college professor, I work with young people, even young athletes, and get a sense of their world.

My parents didn't "get" my generation, either. Our thin ties, eye liner, white suits with pastel t-shirts, big tinted hair, mullets, buckled shoes, baggy shirts, etc.

It's funny when my kids' friends get all surprised when I tell them I don't have a single tatoo.

    "Not one?!?!"

I have nothing against them (within reason). Just not my thing.
