Good stuff. Now they just need eye movement sensors inside the helmets.

Coach Tomlin- "The film 'gave me a headache'." :lolol:

    OT- Happy Birthday, Thig.

motion sickness is a massive *****, I remember in the earlier days of 3D gaming ... Ugh ... And a while ago some college WR had footage of himself running routes while wearing a go-pro, I almost threw up after watching it :(

You know, I'm honestly not sure how much the vision helmets really help anything. Yeah, it's a fun thing to look at (in about 5 second doses before I want to hurl), but what is the benefit of this over a traditional stationary camera?
If we use a QB's cam for instance, and we see what he sees, and he throws a pick, shouldn't that just tell us that the QB needs to scan the field more? Unless that's the crux of the camera, to get the players to look around more?

I'd imagine it's about noting the points at which QBs start staring down receivers, how quickly they go through their progressions, if they can get a read on any defensive responses etc. And vice versa, of course, for defenders reading QBs. I'll be interested to see how much of a difference it makes - it doesn't sound like they're investing a whole load into it, but seeing where it goes.

    And cheers, Dobbler and mac!
