4th round Steelers from Clemson. 6'4" 211 pounds, I guess Ben gets his big WR.

Little surprised we took the guy. I've read he's got some issues, both on and off the field. He has huge upside, but he's very raw.

I'm not aware of that. Could you elaborate?

I'm struggling to remember exactly now as I did so much reading leading up to the draft. I do remember him being kicked out of a couple games for various on field incidents, including a throat slashing gesture. I think there was also something about him being suspended or not qualifying for a bowl game due to something he did. I also read he has off the field issues and has immaturity issues, although without looking it up, I just can't remember anything specific.

Tall, fast, vertical WR. Good pick for the round, and a much better prospect than Derek Moye or Justin Brown. Kind of like Limas Sweed with the same hands issue.

He had some disciplinary issues, but nut job is a bit over the top. But yeah, huge upside if he can screw his head on straight and hold on to the ball.

Yeah, nut job probably wasn't the correct term. I edited it to be more precise on what I meant

I like this pick a lot so far I'm loving our draft and IMO this is two years in a row we have nailed the draft.

We're suddenly looking pretty loaded at WR, IF (big if!) they live up to their billing.

While obviously it's far too early to tell, I'm wondering how many we end up with in the final 53...

I would say I hoped to get him but I think it's more like I knew they would bring him here if at all possible. Yes, some issues and needs work but the clay is ready to mold.

I would've taken him and thought they were going to in the 3rd > Very good pick

It was probably receivers coach Richard Mann who has been asking for a big WR more so than Big Ben, Mann needs to coach him up so he can be a legitimate threat especially in the redzone.

Really like his size and speed and the fact that he seems to know how to use his body to go up and shield off defenders from the ball, BUT his hands are a big concern of mine. He has a ton of upside but when a Wr has issues with catching the ball i tend to get a little nervous about them. I hope he's not another Sweed.

Can he catch the ball? Very questionable.

I'll be happy with an above average group. Wheaton needs to step up this year to go along with Moore and Moore. If that happens, you can ease Bryant in to situations where he can be a position to succeed with minimal risk.

If Wheaton doesn't step up, Ben will be relying on Miller and Brown more than he did last season.

I suspect we'll see Bryant in RZ situations more than any other time this season.

That was my thought when I saw the pick. He'll be a jump ball guy or a decoy for Miller.

Agree on the red zone. I also expect to see Bryant come in for 4 WR sets and run vertical routes to clear out a safety. The opponents will need to respect him as a vertical threat in those situations.

Same here. He needs to live in the weight room for the next few months.

This entire draft class could use some time at the facility with the S&C staff.

Although I'm not sure how that works with the CBA. Can they work with the S&C staff over the summer? Do they have to do it on their own?

When it comes to that stuff, I'm pretty in the dark.
