Ha ha. Why not? They played Lake at corner years ago. I love me some Sharknado...I mean Shamarko.

That was also with a better front seven too, and they had a better pass rush than they have now.

you have Roger Goodell with a Hitler mustache and i'm emotional.

i don't like him either, but you might as well dress him up as Pol Pot or something if you're going to compare him to a murderous totalitarian dictator.

I know some people said he'd go later, but the 3rd is where I thought he'd go. You can't teach speed, especially not that kind of speed.

Little guys like Sproles and Chris Johnson seem to have amazing durability. Hopefully Archer holds up well too.

The good news? We still have a shot at Desir and Yankey in the 4th. I'd be pretty pumped with either.

    FYI

According to Narwocki, Dri Archer was the 74th-ranked prospect so looks like TTF was right about him having a 3rd-round grade and not a 5th.

That means with picks 15, 46, and 97 we got the 10th (Tuitt), 15th (Shazier), and 74th ranked prospects. Not too shabby.

Btw he has Yankey rated 69th and Pierre Desir rated 82nd.

I drafted him for the Saints in the mock draft we did in the 4th. I thought I stole him there....

    Agree with this 100%.

I honestly do not understand our draft strategy. We desperately need secondary help and a big target in the redzone and they draft this guy? And no one can say, "there was no one there worth reaching for at those positions" anymore when they just reached for a type of player that has been proven to hardly ever work out in the NFL too early...

I like the draft overall, but am bummed that we still don't have a legitamate #2 WR on our roster. I think that was more important than addressing the CB need early on...

We are really gonna need Wheaton to figure things out this year....

While yes Jones was taken a few picks after they traded up for Shamarko...but he technically is not the player selected with the trade...Shamarko was. People need to give it a rest with the Jones stuff...damn...

I almost want us to re-enact that trade again this year, to snag Bryant and Desir in the 4th.

Plenty of decent CB's available in round 4. Would be epic fanbase trolling if Colbert waited and only took Colvin. :lolol:

Ben must be lovin this pick. all hes been asking for is a big target to throw the ball to. so they go out and draft maybe the smallest guy in the draft. way to keep your franchise qb happy by giving him the best weapons.

This! At what point do people start calling BS on some of this? Does Dulac lose any credibility? I thought they told Ben they'd take a big WR early for him...:bscow:

I've said many times, all this WR talk is media driven, Steelers very well could be content with what they have.
