they don't need a star at CB, but they sure as hell don't need a giant heap of trash at CB either.

I'm kinda shocked Carlos Hyde has lasted this long, he looks like a man among boys to me.

Probably not, pick comes at the end of the 3rd.

Yeah, I thought Jernigan was a 3-technique for sure. Ravens have Daryl Smith and Arthur Brown, they draft a third ILB and a 3-technique?? Are they switching to a 4-3?

    I think there's a chance he's still there.

I know, at 97. Nix and Tuitt were supposed to be 1st rounders weren't they? There have been quite a few WR's selected ahead of where you might predfict, maybe he falls?

I always saw Jernigan more as a 4-3 NT. He's not quite the quick penetrator, but he is stout for his size.

Here's a thought: if Nix falls to the 3rd (due to medical concerns or teams no longer valuing a "2-down player" or his being distracted by 13 mouths to feed) do we trade up in the round to take him?

Agreed. I wanted one of the big 3. Once we didn't get/take one, I prefer waiting.

Yeah as far as CBs go, as soon as Lamarcus Joyner went off the board (who would have been a good nickel back) there was no value at #46. No needs to force anything there.

We got a good football player who is going to stuff the run and may chip is with occasional pressures. They need to make sure that Tuitt doesn't exceed 305lbs though. He looked pretty lazy a t times as a senior when his weight was up.

Would love to get McGill next, or one of the Gaines at CB. I think there is more day 3 WR talent than day 3 CB.
And, two big mammoths at NT, that can be had tomorrow. Zack Kerr, Delaware and Shamar Stephon, UCONN.

I think we will trade up in the 3rd for a CB.

Agreed. I think Steelers are content with McClendon/Fangupo.

I'd like either Desir or Montcrief at 97.

We'd have to tradeup from themiddle of the 4th yes, what would the value board say we'd have to give up?

No pressure from the front 7 and poor performances against the run needs to be fixed. We'll get some corners.

We will have to see won't we. I would freaking hope it has some effect on pass defense, we had 10 interceptions last year... that is inexcusable. Of course I do not think it will have as much as an impact as some talent at CB would have... a chain is only as strong as its weakest link and we have a VERY weak one that needed to be addressed and wasn't. Dennard wasn't the only choice either. If they really liked Fuller they should have went and got him... thats how bad we needed it. If only one or two guys pan out from any draft might as well trade them the hell away.

The telecast is 3 picks behind because of all of the introduction drama. Thanks Rog.

Thank God they didn't do that. Got a heck of a playmaker instead and kept their picks.
