GB great point. I'm not sure why all the hate? The guy is a beast and will start day one. He is better on the plane ride to Pittsburgh than Williams was on the field last year. Too many guys fall in love with "HOPE" as in they "HOPE" a player develops. Shazier made our LB corps one of the tops in the league

This night is going from bad to worse. My cable is out. I wait six months (and two weeks) for the Draft and my cable goes out. Sheesh. Did the Browns actually take Manziel or are we still speculating?

 

i agree that the fans have a voice (and that voice is mainly money, and rightfully so since the NFL is a business). however, i think that anyone can go out and buy something. that shouldn't put you on the same level as high-profile professional athletes.

 

Off topic but the Browns have done well tonight. Arguably the best DB in Gilbert to pair with Haden and now they snag Manziel, plus the have 4 picks I think in the next two rounds

 

what about shamarko Thomas and Mitchell added? Thomas can cover like a corner and hit like a safety. he and Mitchell are blazers. speed kills on defense. look for the sub packages to help the defensive backfield. we will get a corner or two before it's over. don't worry.

 

bet he doesnt start game 1... did you forget about who our DC is ... DL will probably be retired before he starts..

No Evans to bail him out anymore, but Gordon is "pretty good"! Our defense is quickly becoming so very athletic with Mitchell, Shark, Shazier, Jones that the mobile dudes will have a hard time against us for a change.

 

would someone be willing to take our 2,3,4,5,5,6,6, and 7 for us to take dennard next so we can fix our secondary and win a super bowl this year

the Steelers aren't getting someone who will actually do anything in their secondary (someone who won't even make the team or will get cut after a short stint). if they do, color me shocked, but they need to start building their depth LAST YEAR. their LBs are a luxury. sure, they should be able to stop the run, but what good is all of that if you can't cover anyone or stop any semblance of passing game? teams will just pass all day even if they can't establish a run and they'll be successful.

super bowl? super bowl? we got to get to the playoffs to get to the super bowl and i havnt seen any off season moves (including the draft round one) thats gonna get us to 9 wins much less the SB.. our best off season move and drave move this year when getting munch as the OL coach.. thats not good when your best move is a OL coach..
