you're downplaying how serious that "1 mistake" was by saying it's just "1 mistake". he took out their best O-Lineman in that play. i don't even know how someone could do something that serious to their own teammate, but what do i know?

you don't just let him go for that, granted, but he's not some HOF-bound heavily-feared lineman in the league. he's really not much better than many other linemen out there.

you guys could be happy with all of the LBs in the world, but the fact is that until they start worrying about their secondary depth (because in the last 4 years, they HAVE NOT CARED ABOUT IT), they won't be a tough defense to beat.

 

has our priority in the draft become stopping the run? maybe a NT in the 2nd round? Louis Nix still might be available...

 

he's here to chase manzel around the field twice a year.

one thing that's a pet peeve of mine: "we"-ism. there is no "we" when it comes to making the plays, decisions, etc. of the team. we're not employed by the Steelers. you can root for any team. being a fan of a team doesn't mean you're "part of that team". /rant

the Steelers have missed the playoffs the last two seasons. one of their problems has been their passing defense. it's too inconsistent and weak to not care about building at all. you guys love your LBs, but what are any of these linebackers going to do to stop the inevitable 10-15-20-yard screen passes and play action passes?

 

I'm actually worried about Manziel, small mobile dudes have (in the last years) given the Steelers D fits

This is going to go one of two ways. He's either going to be a typical Browns QB bust...or he will be a Russell Wilson-type superstar. No in between. I fear he may be the latter.

 

sorry you don't like it but as a fan I do say we cause without us there is no nfl or front office or team.

 

browns QBs since 1999... now at 21 and he wont last long... couple good hits and hes done
