With all this talk on ESPN about the Cowboys taking Manziel at 16, it makes me wonder. Would Manziel get past the Steelers at 15?
I know at this point its just a value pick but Big Ben hasn't been extended, and he's not getting any younger. So the question is: Would the Steelers take him if available? Maybe trade back and get extra picks? IMO, the Cowboys are delusional if they think he's falling that far.

BTW, I thought this day would never get here. The draft needs to be in April.

Wait this is serious? No, they are not taking a QB to replace Ben.

No,of course its not serious. That's why I said it would only be a value pick instead of picking for need. A value pick wouldn't necessarily play right away, where a pick for need is expected to contribute sooner.

I would take a sledge hammer to my TV and post it on youtube. (There's going to be a lot of man-on-tv violence from the gist of my posts of late)

Yeah, I like MT & KC, but I'd drive to Pittsburgh myself to tell them how I feel. Not going to happen. I really can't even see the Cowboys doing it. They aren't THAT dumb.

If we lose our minds and draft a QB in the 1st round, it better not be Johnny Football.

FYI Manziel has never played a game north of Columbia, Missouri ... and he lost that one. His northernmost win was at Fayetteville, Arkansas. Midget QBs tend to do poorly outdoors in the cold/wind/rain/snow.

They took a QB last year so taking Manziel makes no sense.

Heard an interview former Browns GM Phil Savage today, a pretty knowledgeable dude. He wasn't a big Manziel fan but actually came around on him this year. He said the only place where Manziel would be prevented from succeeding, is playing in the AFC North. :lolol:. He has serious concerns about Manziel playing the Ravens, Bengals and Steelers each twice per year.

    I would agree.

Sound perfectly normal for the Browns to me. They've taken 5 QBs in the draft over the last 10 years:

    2012 - Brandon Weeden Round 1
    2010 - Colt McCoy Round 3
    2007 - Brady Quinn Round 1
    2005 - Charlie Frye Round 3
    2004 - Luke McCown Round 1

Given his age, isn't he fairly close to retirement?
