I agree, I loved the pick, I think he is going to be great and why I believe that he was their intended target when they traded away their 3rd. Discussing this in another thread right now.

He's got what it takes... Hope he snatches greatness, and stays humble!

Agree with all of this, though didn't actually think too much of the video...

He has obviously overcome a lot in his life and I hope the best because he's one of ours. I don't know if your comment about the video was in reference to his terrible form during his workouts ,but if it was I agree. How do professional trainers not see a problem there. I know I do.

He was a RB at ECU in 2010. Was arrested in 11/10 on a D&D. Was suspended from team. Entered draft. Was not drafted. Cant find any NFL team that even had him on a PS.

Looks like he is trying to make a living as a PT now.

I went to an ECU football game in the 70's. friend of mine's brother played for them. I thought the field was a cow patty. There were about 4 sets of bleachers. Now they have a big time stadium and are giant killers. In the early 80's the last time Penn State was national champs. They kicked a last second field goal to get out of ECU with a 10 - 9 win it was either the 82 or 86 season

I am "friends" with Shamarko on FB. He is a BEAST. His workouts are ridculous. He posts a lot of pics of his kids, too. He seems like a really great guy.

Yes me too.. I have added him as a friend on facebook as well. He seems to really work tirelessly and puts fourth unbelievable amounts of effort. Hopefully this will translate to on field effectiveness.

About 5 or 6 years ago I saw a tall young guy standing in the hallway at Coastal Carolina Community Collage where I work and he looked lost. I ask if he was lost and he said yes. His teacher was late and he needed to tell him he had to sign his letter of intent to ECU. I told him I would tell his teacher and to go. He said I owe you sir. I said bring me back a touchdown catch ball and we're even. He was a wide receiver. I don't think he ever caught a TD, leastways he never brought me a ball. Name was Joe Womack. HEY JOE!! WHERES MY BALL?? Ha-ha
Just checked and he did catch 1 TD in 2010 and 1 in 2011

Edit: In Carolina we let HS sr's do some duel enrollment classes getting them ready for Collage

we have one from our local HS that graduated early on an excellerated program and was taking college classes last year. he should have been ready to graduate this year and he's already at Michigan and my son said he's huge already. he was looked at and commited as a sophomore. he's a LB. another from that team is a WR for purdue. nice to know these kids when they move to something special. heck I coached them all in little league and football when they were little kids. I've watched them grow with my own. I still say they got where they are in football from when I coached them as kids. LOL:lolol: I keep telling people that but few believe me.:cool:
