No argument from me there. But we have to face the facts that whichever player we go with is an uncertain prospect. Camp will be interesting.

 

I'm just saying to get to camp. if MP is on the PUP list we need bodies to do it. Wallace will be with the first team and then who? I really wouldn't be surprised if we draft one. 1. it gives us security next season and this one as the 3rd center. 2.the kid would have a year under his belt if contract talks don't go well next year. we would have Wallace to fall back on or the draft pick in year two. even if we re-sign MP, we need that 3rd center capable guy on the team. I'm not sure we can wait until camp to see if velasco will be ready. at least a draft pick puts our guy in the pipeline.
