Players want to play for Tomlin?

    I read this too. I wish I knew how much/if Tomlin throws his weight into these things. He's a likable guy; maybe he's just now realizing that he can influence these players' decisions. Moore and Bey have followed, too.

    None of these guys are BIG signings, but they're significant. We have rarely seen the Steelers make even THIS much of a splash in free agency. I wonder if that's due to Tomlin being more active in recruiting players?

    I have no clue, but it would seem like it would be harder for him to recruit now than a couple years ago...

    According to Munchak it sounds like Tomlin was a fairly big reason why he decided to sign on with the Steelers. Seeing as how most here look at picking up Munchak as a big score for us this off season you'd think some credit would have to be given to MT for that. :shrug:

    I am sure this will not be taken into consideration for the MT haters. I think he is a great coach and has the respect of his personnel. Clearly players and coaches outside the organization have a deep and profound respect for him.

    But yeah Tomlin is a hack and a bum and subpar coach

    People can point out the slow start he had last year, and thats fine but the fact that the team finished strong the way they did and never quit, I think that says a lot about him and how the team feels about him.
