What are your thoughts on Aaron Colvin? (CB, Oklahoma) What round do you see him going in considering he's rehabbing from his ACL surgery?

All I know about him is what the Lindy's Draft Guide says: (6-0 186 lbs) "Torn ACL at Senior Bowl is a temporary setback."

Any Sooners on the board that may have seen him play?

first of the year he was consider to be one of the best in country. he considered coming out last year. he is very physical and I am not to sure how that will transition to pro game with the no touchy rules they have now. I would love him if healthy. he is worth a late round or if rehab is going good maybe mid round pick. big playmaker

Wow, didn't realize he tore his acl. I thought he looked great and showed great speed in his bowl game. Torn acl? 6th or 7th? I thought un-injured he was projected as a 2nd-3rd?

I thought he looked like a solid player against Bama. On the height/weight thing, I believe he officially measured 5'11" and 177 lbs. at the combine. That's a small frame for an NFL player at any position. Other than watching OK games during the season, I haven't really watched him. However, a 177 lb. frame was already going to drop him a bit, and I'd be surprised if he goes any earlier than an end of 5th round pick to a playoff team with few holes or a comp selection.

Actually, with the steelers history of slowly developing players on defense, maybe it makes sense to pick him up and let him watch tape for a year...... Cause you know he'll rarely see the field as a rookie anyway.

I had a 2nd round grade on him prior to his injury. Obviously, you have to check the medical and see how destructive the injury was, but I would look at him starting in the 5th round.

I liked colvin as one of our picks before the injury. not knowing how he will comeback would leave me to believe I wouldn't consider him until later. if at all. we need help this year and there is a lot of healthy help in this one. it's not like we have the luxury of being a rehab facility. we saw heath take time and we don't know about pouncey yet or embernate, or spence. we have plenty of rehab stories going on already team wide, I'm not sure adding another at this point would be smart.

Maybe if they drafted a CB in the 1st or 2nd for once, then maybe a rookie could get some playing time.
