This is the most active GM Kevin Colbert has been in signing veterans that I can remember, I maybe wrong but I think he's going to trade up. He signed depth because I don't think he will keep all 9 draft picks, just putting it out there.

Interesting. Who do you think he would be trading up for?

I kind of agree, what are they going to do with 9 picks. I see maybe 5 roster spots that rookies could take?

Maybe Justin Gilbert or Sammy Watkins? Those 2 might not be there at 15, but might be there around 10 or 11 so it wouldn't be a huge move up. A huge jump would be for a LT.

But Colbert does this all the time before the draft, he signs bargain FA's to justify not reaching for a position in the draft.

I don't think we move up in this draft. Draft is too deep.

I don't see how you come to that conclusion. Look how many of our own free agents there were this year, and how many have been lost...

DE,NT,OLB,CB,CB,ILB all good possibilities for a rook to get a spot. WR, TE, RB, OT, C/G, P, returner and possibly a K for the PS late, LS. I could see 9 holes filled and some PS futures.

Thank you Mac, somehow people just don't
see or want to see how poor of a roster we have.
Drinking the KC/MT kool-aid with there black and
gold glasses on.Without changes to the existing
roster as of 4-3-2014 I see another 8 and 8.
And that is with a franchise QB.

That's exactly why we will probably do it this year. Just to confuse everybody.

I don't think anyone is saying there aren't holes to fill, dont know where you get that from. Could be wrong but I also don't believe Mac agrees with you that we have a very poor roster, you have a habit of agreeing with people who really dont share your point of view.

They traded up in the last two drafts so trading up wouldn't surprise me, unlikely they will trade up in the 1st round though....

Keep drinking the Kool Aid, if you think this
as of 4-7-2014 is a high caliber playoff roster
I have some ocean front property to sell to you in Arizona.

You have kool aid on the brain! No where in my post did I say we have a high caliber playoff roster. I even said they have holes to fill! You're so full of negativity you can't even see what I wrote.

By the way, not a high caliber roster but they were a badly blown call from being a playoff roster. I know, they have to be 19-0 every year and blow every opponent out or they are terrible. I got it now.

Wait a minute, nobody loves the Steelers more than I do,I just don't go along all the time with
some of their moves. Hell, I would love for the Steelers to be 19 and 0 every year even with
KC/MT. I know this is not feasible. All I really ask for is that they out work/ outsmart the other GM/HC's and strengthen our team so that we are capable of making a long playoff run,and in this playoff run they play
EXCITING,PHYSICAL,MOTIVATED,SOUND FOOTBALL. Is this too much to ask?
