 You can't trust him to stay healthy at this point in his career.

Is Plaxico 40 years old yet? Time to let him go. But I would let him come to camp to see what he has and to help the young guys out.

I was never really in favor of him coming back in the first place. I just don't see him being any kind of difference maker for the offense, and I'm not sure he'd help much with depth.

He is all but done. You can stick a fork in him. He is like 37 and has not played a meaningful down for a couple of seasons.

It's been 3 years since Plax did anything significant. All he has dobne since then is get older. If he still has a lot in the tank, it's apparently a little itty bitty tank.

To me, Plaxico is a poster child for the full athletic scholarship reward for talented kids with 10 cent brains. Unfortunately the talent diminishes but the intelligence holds it's value.

The last time plax was on the field for the steelers was in 2012 and he lasted 4 games and had 3 catches for 42 yards and then his tank sprung a leak, he never did like to practice for a game and I can just imagine what kind of football shape he is in now after two years of inactivity, he's done, end of story....
