I think Blount is more in the Steelers price range than MJD. That would be a good get if they could sign him.

At least he hasn't been run until the wheels are falling off. Although, he isn't what I would consider careful with the football.

I would take him if the price is ok. He is a hard runner and does not go down easy. He is 2-3 time the fan fav Redman.

I wouldn't be against it , but we need a backup that can run behind this scheme they are installing and the RB we get has to be bell like not just a big hard runner. bell splits out and does a lot of things. dwyer wasn't that style of back either. LGB is more of a hit the hole guy. is there any out there big with a little wiggle in them?

They need to get him signed because I read the Ratbirds are interested in him also, he's supposed to go visit them after the Steelers.

I read that too, but I can't see Baltimore having any sincere interest in him.

It would be a blast if we could sign him for sure. Steve smith in Baltimore doesn't wiggle me one way or the other but Blount in purple could be trouble.

Are Tomlin and Colbert speaking to the Pens on Sunday??!!

    I kid, I kid!

Would LOVE it if we signed Blount. I thought he was trouble coming out of college but he's kept his nose clean in the NFL. He's just got a nasty streak which I like.

He's taking them to Dave and Busters :lolol:

I was going to ask about Blount, he hasn't had any issues in the pros? I suspect not, I was a little surprised to see the Steelers bring him in but if hes kept his nose clean since college, thats why.

as you said his visit has been moved back to friday now.. they say its due MT and KC at the meetings.. could be the pats resign him earlier.. could be the ravens do .. somehow .. if it comes down to the ravens wanting him and the steelers wanting him .. my money is on ozzie get him.. hate to say it .. just seems to be the way things have gone over the past several years..

I'd be surprised if the Ravens were significantly interested at this point. My money's on NE re-signing him at some point.

If the FO could sign him this would be a huge signing. Our o line isn't as bad as it was, and with a new line coach our run game will improve. Blount would be exactly what we need. However, his wallet may need him worse?
