    He's packing right now

    NAILED IT!

  2. Cotchery is a fellow Wolfpacker and NC is home. He'll play the same role here or in Pittsburgh. We'll know soon enough.

    Not surprising, but still disappointing.

I hope we don't give Lance Moore anything other than the minimum. I would rather just draft 2 WRs.

2 years ago our WR corps was our deepest position. Now it has been reduced to AB and a young 2nd year player.

    New Draft Strategy:
    1. WR
    2. TE
    3. WR
    4. CB
    5. CB

    :lolol:

Make that TE a good one. One that can play Iron Man at the DE position.

No. Ignore the OLB & DL positions and we'll have 3 8-8 seasons in a row.

Drafting an olb or DE will change nothing this year. I WR can have an immediate impact.

I'm ok with the signing. The Panthers are my #2 team and they need a Vet WR and He fits the bill.

As for my #1 team, the Steelers are going to be ok. Jerricho tutored AB and all the other young WRs here on how to prepared, study film and be a high caliber nfl wr. With Jerricho now gone AB is now the undisputed leader in every way for the WR corp and he'll do a great job.

Wheaton missed almost all of OTA's/Training camp due to league rules, he was late learning the system and he suffered two hand injurys last year costing him time on the field. This year he will easily replace Sanders role and production.

    J. Brown showed last preseason he has great hands. After a year on the PS and in our system he'll be a great slot receiver. K. Moore beat out J D Woods last year who many thought should have made the team. He's a very shifty runner with solid hands and return abilities who should replace AB on the ST.

Moye after a disappointing season will probably lose out to a WR we draft.

Remember a lot of Jerricho's production was in the redzone while Miller was hurt/out and when he returned he was not 100%. This year Miller will be 100%.

While I will miss Jerricho here this is not a loss that hurts us, in fact it'll probably help us.

WR is one of the most difficult positions to learn and master in the NFL. It usually takes 1-2 years for a WR to become all he can be in todays NFL. We'll draft one, fairly early and he'll be a good WR but his impact will not be immediate.

Go ahead and enter this year with Carter as your best OLB back-up and see how our defense does. And with no DL depth our starters will wear out quickly in games and come the 2nd half of the season the battle in the trenches will be over and our run defense will suffer as will our secondary.

Wow, first move or non move the FO has done that I am really disappointed with since FA began. I guess they really are targeting a WR this draft but can they really be expecting a whole lot from him? I know, the rookie on NO had a big season but I don't think thats the norm. Unless they bring in a FA, which in that case, 1) how do you pay him and 2) who the heck is even worth bringing in?

They most have really been low balling Cotch, he totally wanted to stay here. Either that or Carolina completely over paid for him.

Tsk, should have made this happen.
