    I think he is but this years crop of tight ends is deep. I think you can still grab on as insurance. it would be all about the dollars

    I saw this yesterday, but who knows. I think he could probably be had cheaply on a one year "prove it" deal, but I don't really see the team making a play on a big name TE in FA.

    Those other teams probably have more money to spend than the Steelers do, I don't see it happening.

    Probably? After the new cap was announced We & Dallas were the only teams still over. Dallas made moves that quickly got them under. After several moves we are barely under. We'll make other moves and save more money but we won't save enough to get into bidding wars.

    I can't see it.I want a TE in the 3rd round
    so we can get rid of all the crap we have behind
    Heath. How many damn TE's do you need?
    #26 will more than make up for a 2nd TE.
