What I do like is he actually responded in the comments saying his words motivate me.

Yes I was very surprised at him commenting .. This is the first time I have seen him comment. I gather it's because 95% of the people commenting disapprove..

Like the one commenter said he could get his motivation from former Steeler players as well. People really do not like Ray Lewis.. LOL

Shamarko is a class guy, if he finds motivation in this, good for him. I have no problem with it.

I remember way back when Todd Heap injured his ACL and this guy coming on local sports talk radio and talking about how he helped Todd Heap rehab his knee. Right here in Pittsburgh. Right along side many members of the Steelers and other NFL'ers.

Click on his client list and see just how many players actually (many of them Ravens) travel to Pittsburgh to train with this guy. Pretty impressive.

I've always felt that if Ray Ray were a Steeler instead of a Raven, and did everything the same way as a football player and leader, we would all love him. Looking at the words that inspire Shamarko, not only am I not disappointed, I'm happy. That's how I want players to think about work.

I don't care how we restore the nastiness . If it takes hating Ray Lewis to light a fire under their collective asses then so be it. Jpeezy would be ashamed of Shamarko.

The fans hate Ray Lewis. The players are a fraternity across the league. There may some hatred between individual players, but I would guarantee that just about any Steeler who played vs. Ray Lewis in his prime respects the player and on-field leader that he was. I personally think it's nuts to say that a player is wrong for publicly saying the he's inspired by the words in support of a strong work ethic that were stated by a further hall of famer just because that guy happened to play for a rival.
