Jarvis Landry pulled his hamstring during his first 40-yard dash, which would explain the 4.65 time.

We missed both of their runs though because of those stupid commercials.

Was hoping to grab Evans or Benjamin in the first and double dip Janis late...but he may have slid up a round or two today.

I think his slow time had a lot to do with him not running his second forty, Mayock sounded skeptical of his injury.

Is Jordan Matthews an option at #15 now that he's run so well???

No, if the Steelers don't draft a WR in rd 1 they can get one in the 2nd or 3rd guys like Martavis Bryant and Donte Moncrief.

    Agreed.
I think 15 is too high but I love his over all skill. Big(enough) fast, nice hands. I think he's the best 6'3+ WR in the class and that includes Evans, I just think he's more versatile.

    I agree.

I never considered him earlier than the 2nd round because I thought he'd run 4.5-4.6 but now that he ran (unofficial) 4.4, I have to consider him 1st round material. He's the most polished WR in the draft, except for maybe Watkins. I'd have no problem with them taking him at #15 now.

It might hurt him slightly. How he runs at his pro day will factor in, too. I don't think teams will be too concerned with it, though. Personally, I'm happy he didn't do better. I was afraid he'd pull out a surprise and run a 4.4x. He's a 2nd rounder IMO.

he is for me. the only wr I would take in the 1st or 2nd. I think he is gonna be a stud. he is smart, runs good routes, and catches the ball great and in traffic.

to put it in perspective though, moye ran a 4.44 at 6-4 1/4, with a 33.5 in. vertical, with a year in the offense. just sayin. add another big fast guy and protect ben and we should have no trouble going downfield or finding RZ targets. if they stay healthy the offense should be able to put up the points with anyone.:smiley1::cool:
