My final mock before the combine. Defense wins championships!!!!! Our defense let Tebow beat us in the playoffs and our defense got smoked this past year........

1)----- Justin Gilbert CB Time for Ike to go, he had a good run but we held on to him one year too long.

2)----- Davante Adams WR A tall weapon to add to AB, Wheaton, Cotchery, Justin Brown.. Solid Hands

3)------ James Gayle OLB Solid OLB with proper size and Production.. Woodley ??? JJ ??? Worilds ??

4)------ Terrence Brooks FS We have our future SS in Shark... Brooks will be a solid FS in our scheme

5)------ Justin Ellis DT/NT We have Heyward & McLendon, hope to resign Woods

6)------ James Wilder Jr. RB Dad was a NFL RB and he's perfect size for us 6'2" 220 and fast

7)------ Prince Shembo OLB could be the surprise late rd draft pick that produces in a couple years

Edit: 7th Rd. Pick is now Shaquil Barrett OLB.. Remove Prince and add Barrett. reason being I believe Barrett to be the better OLB but I thought he might be gone. I just learned he was NOT invited to the combine so we have the inside track on him as far as knowing who he is.

There it boys, Rebuilding our defense while adding some speed talent weapons on offense.....

    What say you?

I could live with it too. Not my favourite, definitely would like to add atleast 1 piece to the OL, but this mock makes our team better.

I'm struggling with the OL in this draft. I didn't draft one this time ( waiting for a final draft order including comp picks)
to see what to do. I want to add another OT to develop under Munchak, but I feel right now we have the young pieces for him to mold in Beechum/Adams/Gilbert. Inside we should be solid with Pouncey/foster/DD/Wallace/embernasty.

Also Munchak will be installing the ZBS while working with our young horses.

Yeah we're probably going to have an additional comp pick that you didn't include in your mock so maybe that's where it could come from. I think we need another OT/OG type to throw in the mix.

I just replaced Prince with Barrett because he wasn't invited to the combine so teams won't have as much knowledge of him as we will.

With Joey being his coach last year and now on our coaching staff we should have a solid understanding of his football knowledge and physical skills/weaknesses

The combine is more than just position drills. Every team will have access to each invitee and interview time. There will be players here that shine or make a statement and teams will go back and research them more thoroughly. Barrett will not have that opportunity, he won't be in Indy. He also played at Colorado St. Not a huge market or Football mecca so he won't be on the top of everyone's radar. His chance to get his name out there will be Colorado st.'s Pro-Day and I doubt every team will be there.

I'm just saying his lack of exposure may cause him to drop further than his skillset dictates and we have an insider.

Love the Gilbert and Brooks picks. Not so sure about some of the others. Honestly I have focused mostly at this point on FS and CB while also looking at the 3 top TEs. Haven't looked at much tape beyond that. Just haven't had the time.
