the article was long and it was a slideshow so I figured it would be easier to shows picks and some of the reasons. this guy did say the steelers would get a 3rd rounder for Wallace. so he had them picking at the end of round 3 and 5. didn't say who the 5th was for.

rd1 ha ha Clinton dix s Alabama he thought he was a true free safety and would complement troy and Thomas for years

    rd2 Kelvin Benjamin wr fsu

rd3 Stanley jean-Baptiste cb Nebraska he said it was a reach but the steelers need to get more athletic in secondary

rd4 cj fiedorowicz te iowa he compared him to heath miller only taller.lol

rd 5 Ronald powell lb florida

rd 5 andre Williams rb boston college

rd 6 Cornelius lucus ot Kansas st he called him a bulldozer so I guess he can run block

rd 7 beau allen dt wisconsin

I think Clinton-Dix would be a fantastic pick for us at 15. Fiedorowicz fits a need, and his skill set better suits the Steelers offense than any of the "big 3" TE's (and is great value in round 4). I also like the Williams and Lucas picks, both very good players. I don't know much about Allen or Powell.

I generally like this mock, but would be very disappointed in our 2nd and 3rd round picks in this scenario. Its probably a moot point about Benjamin as he is likely a 1st round pick, but I dislike each selection for very similar reasons. While both players are considered very large men for their respective positions, they lack a wide range of skills necessary to be successful NFL players. In Benjamin's case he is not real quick, runs poor routes, and has poor hands. IF he "gets it" (ie. learns to run routes, catch, etc.) he could turn into a solid player. Big time boom or bust player. In SJB's case he is slow, draws tons of PI calls, and is a horrid tackler. I don't see boom or bust in him tho, just bust. Too much needs to happen for him to become an NFL caliber football player. These are just my opinions tho :smiley1:

I agree with your thoughts on Benjamin and Stanley. I have a buddy who lives near Lincoln and goes to every game he can. he says he is one of the most overrated players they have. along with Martinez. I love the mock because of ha ha, cj , Williams and powell. if we could get Jordan Matthews instead of Benjamin I would like that better and I heard he had a bad week at the senior bowl so maybe we will have a shot at him
