Asante Samuel any interest in him as a Steeler

    He was released by Atlanta and has over 50 career interceptions, they could release Ike Taylor and maybe sign Samuel on the cheap.

    Will he play for the vet minimum? That's pretty doubtful. While he may be a "short term fix" his salary would prevent us from filling other needs. Much better to go young and cheap, if possible.

    He was benched on a bad Atlanta team, no thanks. Dulac or somebody made a case for switching him to safety, which is intriguing, he has a bunch of picks but I don't see him ending up in black and gold though.

    Man 50 career interceptions, if he gets 10 more, I think he could be in the discussion for the HOF....

    He's actually younger than Ike. Not saying I want him. I'm just saying. A couple of years ago I would have taken him though. He has good ball skills.
