they took gilbert off the left side after two weeks and he never went back. that alone tells me he can't swing. I'd dump gilbert in a minute and I agree about foster too. a swing man has to be able to play LT. we need someone good at it behind beachum. that's a must. adams would stay, but he better improve a lot in pass protection even on the right side.

I think Adams will be much better not having to deal with the speed rushers coming off the left side. IMO Gilbert never went back because Beachum took the job but I think he could become serviceable there with better technique. Hopefully Munchak will improve the overall consistency of the entire O-line.

I agree, we need to add talent in a few areas and that requires more picks not less

Agreed. Actually I think you are thinking of Sam Bowie but I get your point. I'm pretty much done drafting O line with high picks. We have enough invested and I feel quality depth. We just hired a O line guru. It's time our coaches started earning there pay checks too. How about coaching guys UP,like a certain team that just won the SB. With the current situation with this team we need picks and lots of them. A trade up would be idiotic.

Unless they think Velasco can serve as LG, seems to me we need a LG more than a LT. For both the running game and pass protection.
