For the Super Bowl, the Seahawks are flying and the Broncos looked gassed.
It reminded me of when the Steelers played the Broncos, and looked slower.

There is definitely a disadvantage to teams playing at high altitude when they aren't used to it. I'm asking: is there a disadvantage for Denver spending the last week at sea level? (Some articles on altitude adjustments suggest that the altitude gives Denver a game-day advantage at home, but limits how hard they can train over the long term.)

Hmm, interesting. I've always believed that it was only a factor for acclimating from low to high, not the other way around. the Broncos sure looked like it was the other way around tonight.

Training at high altitude and then competing at near sea level gives you more endurance/stamina.

No. Did not put them at a disadvantage at all. They just ran into a buzz saw tonight.

Aye, now that the morning after is here I can say with a certainty that it helps you. Olympic athletes will often train at high altitudes to get an edge at sea level.

I've never heard that. It is absolutely amazing to me how pro athletes will find any way possible to gain an advantage.

People are trying to come up with diff. scenarios as for the Denver loss their is only one....the under dogs went to East Rutherford better coached with the youth - speed along with determination and out played the Denver Broncos plain and simple! Hats off to the D

I agree. That team is extremely well coached on both sides of the ball.
