Yeah. I think this SB actually could have benefited from 8 inches of snow.

They just did that on NFL Network.
Eislen still won't give up on it.

Well wasn't that a special game?
Manning cost me $100 by going for 2 on their touchdown. I had Seattle 6 and Horse turds 7. They went for 2 and so I rooted for the Sea hawks the rest of the way
    Nothing personnel just business

    A) Thank you for noticing, but I think there are a handful of really smart guys on this board...not just me =)
    B) I know he was joking...he asked me a question about my sig...I answered it...I was not referring to him at anytime....my sig refers to no one person
    C) Glenn if you thought I was firing off on you I apologize.....was not my intention..and if it came off that way I was in the wrong.

and anyone who thought I was can SUCK IT (once again I am joking for those of you that might fall into that other category)

    HACK

    PS....ON TO THE DRAFT DEBATES

I honestly felt this was a really exciting Super Bowl because of the defensive dominance. I love to watch games where teams put the pedal to the metal and don't let up. I dvr'd the commercials and halftime show so I really can't speak to that aspect. But as far as the game I really loved it. That d is truly great. Denver played bums all year and had the weakest schedule, if I'm not mistaken, and then ran up against guys that don't take no crap and got put in their place. It's a great day for fans of defense I think. We are becoming a dying breed I think. BTW I love your new avatar!

Paty showed his true colors again, choking it up when the spotlight is hottest. I loved it. Now he can go back to his real job, slinging pizzas :lolol:

He was scared from the first snap. Mr Regular season wonder got his @ss handed to him...

Game just shocked me, and the world as well. I picked Sea to win, but never in that fashion. Every WR catch was punished and contested. Hard nose football. Haters aside, manning is class and still one of the greats.

hack, I have agreed with you on the CBs before, and ive said it myself in that I just don't see how a team such as ours, with DL as our coach, didn't want hard hitting DBs like these guys. They were passed over by every team, and I'm only concerned with this one. We've needed DBs for a long time, and they fit the bill, yet we took others? Mind boggling indeed.....

I figured I'd give my quick thoughts on the game.

I thought it was going to be a close game with Seattle keeping the Denver O in check and the Seattle O being able to keep up/etc.

In a way I was rooting for Manning to win (yes I said Manning...as I was more rooting for him than the team i guess haha). But compared to last year when I didnt want either team to win...I'm not saddened that Seattle won. Even though I hate them a little (cry baby stuff from the Steelers SB)...but in a round about way its hard not to like them...how the play...the passion/heart some of them play with...the excitement them and their coach brings/etc.

Anyways...I am shocked it ended up being so lopsided, wow!

    Congrats Seattle...

PS - The Steelers still have 5 more than you!

Also the commercials have been getting worse each year. Now there might be a couple decent ones compared to years ago when they were a big thing each year.

The best thing about this SB is that it didn't involve the Pats or the 9ers!

I was just looking over the thread to see how if people were loving on the d since I didn't get to chat tonight and this cracked me up. I was thinking BF is gonna be hating all the smack he gets from me. LOL! But, in my defense, just imagine if Phillip Rivers had been playing like this.....

That SB was awful, one of the worst I have ever seen. The only way I would like that kind of game is if it was the Steelers doing that. Yes, I love Seattles defense and admire what they did but from a competitive entertaining game standpoint, freaking awful. I switched to Black Sails in the 3rd Qtr.

Me? Why? I like Peyton and don't get the hate for him but thats about it. Did I say he was better then Brady or something? :lolol:

After seeing all 48 superbowls, this one was special, a number 1 defense against an old QB who everybody thought would win this game on his reputation: The hawks coaching staff did an excellent job preparing their young team to dominate an overrated number 1 offense: Peyton will retire now, because he wont play in another SB so he might as well hang it up, the hawks defense made him look like the old QB he is. The Hawks played like champions, the Broncos played like the losers they are.....

It's funny that you mentioned this. Because I thought about your picks for 2 years now. I kept telling myself Hack was right. You were right about Vontaz Burfict too.
Man if the front office can just hire you as a consultant...

this bring another question .. would they have succeed in our defense where the rookies have to wait 2 years to see the field ?
