That nice pick cowher guy is pretty crazy sometimes. Is he actually "reputable" and all that? I've just read some stuff from him where it sorta sounded like he was just one of us. A guy with a cpu, some time, and a Steeler obsession. I'm not saying this story isn't true. I'm just honestly asking because I've had that curiosity for a while. Also I would agree with him that I would like to keep that open view of the stadium but if it's gonna bring more money to the team then I would say go with it.

You just described every Steelers blogger out there basically. Though yeah, I've seen some pretty far out opinions on there in the past. That story is true though. The Post Gazette ran an article on it last week.

Yeah I never really read any "blogs" ya know? I just look at like the main websites where they actually talk to the guys from the organization. Just yesterday I think it was that he was on that site saying that Wilson felt forced out by Haley or something. I've also read things about him thinking Cowher would be brought back or just crazy things like that. That's why I was curious about him. Which "outsider" do you consider the most reputable or whatever? It's just hard to trust sportswriters and especially after all that "trade Ben" crap from this year that was from an actual AP writer.

Oh. Absolutely man! I am so on this thread dude! If I do ANYthing to compromise the integrity of this thread I give you my word as a gentleman that I will cancel my internet subscription because I don't want you slamming your fist into the cpu again. LOL.

    This.

You can buy PSLs any time if you've got the money. There is a for sale section on TTF's link. Once they are out of the Steelers hands, they're value is determined on the open market by supply and demand.

If you go to TTF's first link and then 'download the full data sales sheet' to excel you can see going back one year what all PSLs sold through the Steelers market place sold for. Look to pay at least 3 or 4 thousand per PSL (seat). My MIL's seats were originally $1200/PSL from the Steelers in 2001. It looks now like should could get 6 to 8 grand per PSL. There are currently 2 PSLs for sale in her section for just under 8 grand a piece.

If they add to the stadium does this drive ticket prices down since there are more of them? Or does that all depend on popularity and how the team is doing from year to year? I heard a lot of talk this year from fans in the stands saying that they were disappointed in turnout this year and ticket prices were way down.

But not ALL of the seats in the upgrade would be licensed seats right? I mean just anyone can sit in them? Seems to me the more seats are there the less you would have to pay if the team is doing bad but I see what you're saying about the people who buy the season seats though.
