Munchak Faith

The best coach in the world is not going to help Adams slowness, poor footwork, bad balance, sorry technique, lack of strength. He was a mistake and will be a big project, should of not been taken so high. I don' t see him ever again at LT and the most we could get him to do is line up as extra tackle on the right side on running plays.

 

Ok here's a question that will maybe determine people's "faith" in Munchak. Will the Steeler produce a pro bowl offensive linemen in 2014 and if so who? My guess is most will say Pouncey so let's take him out of the equation and just use guys that have never been to the pro bowl. So maybe it should be "besides Pouncey" who will go to the pro bowl under Munchak's tutelage?

 

interview with ben next year:

interviewer: ben I see your left arm is down your throat and sticking out your right rib cage, your right arm is wrapped up through your crotch and your thumb is up your arse, your right leg is bent backwards and up by your left ear, your left leg, well they will find it when they clean up the stadium, I'm sure. how do you think the line played today?

ben: adams and gilbert just need a chance. they are getting better. I think they could soon be playing at a pro bowl level in a few more games. they just need to gel. speaking of gel, could you hand me, err, could you squeeze some of that ben-gay all over my body. I should be ready for next weeks game if they find my left leg early in the week. we will look at the film and clean things up this week.

 

Maybe THAT'S why Ben has been trying to convince us he has serviceable linemen! He's been holding out for that Ben-Gay endorsement and figures he will make a GREAT spokesmen for them if they don't coach some guys up around him. LOL.

 

I don't think Munchak can make Adams a starting LT he's too slow, he cost us the Vikings game being a turnstile. They need to draft a LT for the future Beachum filled in nicely but he's undersized.

 

I don't think they all suck is my point. the two second rounders that can only play RT is what I have a problem with and one slow too fat LG. pick one of the two 2nd rounders and get rid of the other.

we also have no backup if beachum gets hurt. the chargers needed their bu LT this year. the broncos had to go to their backup this year and both were in the playoffs. I don't want to go back to the first 4 games of last year if beachum gets hurt.

this all could be fixed pretty easily, instead of wishing and hoping. we are to close and running out of productive ben years quickly. what's the downfall of finally giving ben a dominant line to work behind? one more good draft pick? why would anyone not want to finish what they have started to finally turn around? I'm not seeing the downside to this.

I'm sure Adams will be fine. I think it's Ben we're all worried about. LOL.
