First off heard the news but very late to the party but very happy! The hope is he can work with what he has so we can invest that pick on a playmaker at either CB or WR in the first round.

As for the Cleveland head coaching position, I would take it for the salary and the view from the sidelines for the two Steeler games. Do you think it would be bad form to request autographs from the Steeler players during the game??? What a mess of a franchise and glad I am not a fan of that team...

I think the ones we have will be fine. We may take a mid to late round OL., but no way we take one in the first three rounds.

I don't see how anyone can say that definitively. They will take BPA, and if that's a stud lineman in round 1, it's a stud lineman in round 1.

Scheme and playcalling masked the line's deficiencies last year. Is Mike Adams playing tackle again in 2014?

As a PSA, there's a whole neat draft sub-forum for anyone who isn't aware of it. Plenty of draft talk in there. Enjoy. http://thesteelersfans.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?16-The-Draft-Room

The Steelers historically draft BPA over needs. We as fans focus more on needs. I believe, in my heart, that even though they draft BPA if at the time of their selection if there are multiple players at different positions that are graded extremely close to one another then the team will then draft by need.

As far as the play of the OL goes last year, they most certainly did play better as a unit the 2nd half of the season than the 1st half. Ben embracing Haley's offense, the no huddle and Bell's arrival also added to their production and/or perceived improvement.

The OL is not the cancer it used to be but they aren't the strength yet either. There is still work to be done and Munchak is the right man at the right time. Now if Mathews or Robinson drops to 15................you almost have to make that pick.

Now if Lewan,Mack and Gilbert are all there at 15..... it'll be between Mack and Gilbert.

You think they would take a RB or QB in the first round?

In other words quit talking about this crap in here! LOL! That's a really good PSA. I mean it is on par with Smokey the Bear or the crying indian. HA! You might have a career in politics someday for all the nice ways you say things.

Nah, but a lot of those conversations have been running for a while with knowledgeable draft nerds.

BPA = Best Player Available. It's a safe bet that in this year's draft, there won't be a QB or RB on the Steelers big board as BPA at pick 15.

I would love that scenario NB. Mack is the real deal, to be sure. A top 5 center, and durable.

Well for me it is! LOL. I wonder how many tough guy jocks would play Dungeons and Dragons? Probably not many. But how many of them play fantasy football which is basically the same right?
