I never realized just how much he abused Joe Flacco.

That was fun. I was hoping the last clip would be him body slamming that drunk Browns fan on the turf.

He absolutely was a Bengal Destroyer. Makes it so weird to see him over there. I would bet that if they lose Worilds or cut Woodley that he's back on a one year qualifying.

He should have retired a Steeler but I don't think he will swallow his pride and ever come back. Seemed to be a bitter breakup and he certainly didn't have much praise for MT.

On a side note: Don't let Roger see that video or he will dock him another 250K.

JH didn't light up the NFL his first few seasons.

I agree. Really like the player he's becoming.

Seems James did some of his best work in the Throwbacks.

And I still love watching that Vince Young sack. I'm sure Vince doesn't think the same way :lolol:

And JH wasn't a highly touted first round draft pick who dominated the SEC and was supposedly plug and play NFL ready in a 3-4 defense that he played in college.

And Troy Polamalu was highly touted, yet didn't do squat his first year. I remember some very unknowledgeable fans calling him a bust!

troy had 38 tackles, 2 sacks and a forced fumble as a rookie.

don't forget he had mike logan and brent alexander playing in front of him too. BA led the team in interceptions that year and he and logan were 3rd and 4th on the team in tackles that year too. hard to get a lot of chances with that type of play in front of you.

Who's the last rookie OLB to do anything in a DL system.

Jarvis had 31 tackles 10 assists 1 sack
Troy had 29 tackles and 9 assists 2 sacks

Not sure what people were expecting Jarvis to do his first season, learning a complex system. He started didn't he, how many times has that happened, should speak volumes to his skill level. Jarvis will be great, give it time.

Thanks BF. For some reason Jack has labeled him as a disappointment?

Jack is a very tough customer to please, very high standards, only the best will do, no excuses, right Jack? ;)

I think Jarvis will be a beast, coaches have very high praise for him, DL says he is almost never out of position now, which to me, means he'll be able to let his instincts take over soon and start wreaking havoc. And Jarvis said he will hit the weight room this off season to work on his strength. I'm not worried about him, I thought he would have had around 6 or 7 sacks, no biggie, they will come.

I was ABSOLUTELY disappointed overall with JJ's performance his first year. I'm not labeling him a bust, but I thought he'd be able to muster up more than ONE SACK with all of the snaps he got this year. Again, I'm not ready to give up on him and if you're satisfied with his first year, okay by me.

Maybe my standards are too high, Blast. But I am a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers after all. :smiley1:

There's still James Harrison type players around. Unfortunately, they play for the 9ers.
