devin smith back. dan molls signed. molls is a tackling machine that I wanted in the late rounds or as an UDFA a year or two ago. I'm pretty happy with that signing. he's from Toledo and led the MAC in tackles. fairly mobile too as I remember.

 

Sampson is the deep speed. 5-11, but runs a 4.40 and did 20 reps on the bench at last years combine. that's 1 more than adams did. just sayin.

interesting pickup. with wheaton,moye,brown and Sampson, that's a pretty good mix of young cheap talent to go with AB.

 

I remember the name and where he was from, but never really looked him over. I liked wynn from last year the same way and we picked him up, put him on the PS and cut him loose after a few weeks.

Sampson was a 4 year starter at Baylor and an academic all-American. he's like a marcus wheaton's twin, size, speed and strength wise.

 

From the film I watched on Maysonet ehhh nothing really stood out. He gas no speed to speak of and he played against weaker opposition. All things considered i would just stick with Dwyer , whom I feel still has plenty of upside if he can get in even better shape. You seem to have a pretty good insight on Sampson though. He sounds promising,maybe he can replace Sanders. I think we can definitely wait up until the 2nd or 3rd for a WR. I like the guy from Vandy that TTF is pimpin'. This would be the ideal draft to trade back a little but we never seem to do that.

Hey TTF what's your take on this rash of future signings? Is this something all the teams are doing currently or just us ? Either we are being hyper pro-active ( which isn't a bad thing) or trying to take the sting off a 8-8 season.
