We were the only team to finish strong this year. Bengals will have a much tougher schedule.

Forget finishing strong, if they don't start out strong they will be right back where they finished this year 8-8....

By the way, the Bungholes will play the same in and out of Division schedule for 14 games that we will play, same schedule minus two at large games, that's it....

We clearly have the best QB, so I'd say yes.

Fully agree. This team needs to start out strong, kick ass and take names. Two back to back 8-8 seasons should light a fire under this organization. If they start out 0-3 or 0-4 next season then I would pull the plug on MT no matter how the games unfolded. It will simply be unacceptable to me. I don't think that will happen though. I look for this team to come out with a sense of urgency.

I think what's going to hold us back is our defense. I don't see major changes in our performance next year and we will be losing some key veterans. And the replacements haven't shown they can do any better. Only because they haven't been given the opportunity. We shall see.

This is true, but he needs help. We still have a lot of holes.

Based on the strong finish, we could be the best of the mediocre.

    Can THIS year end first?

Who knows what the draft, free agency, OTAs, and Training Camp hold?

Well the browns are the browns, I don't see a threat there. The ravens I think are going to have some of the same salary cap problems we've been having. The bengals are choke artists and may lose their OC and DC to head coaching jobs. None of this will matter if the steelers continue to shoot themselves in the foot

The Bengals may be choke artists, but we all know that choke artists can win in the regular season. The fact that they won the division this year tells me it's their division to lose. Come September we may very well be the favourite to win it, but right now, I gotta give it to them again

The Bengals actually finished the last 6 games of the regular season at 5-1. They had the best record of any AFC North teams during that period. They may have laid an egg in the playoffs, but they are the team to beat next year.

Steelers need to find another playmaker on defense before we start thinking about taking the division....

The Bengals won the division this year, so it is theirs to lose next year. I think we will have a good enough team to challenge them next year though. Draft a few solid players and we will have a shot. If we make the Bengals perform late in the season, Andy Dalton (aka. gingerpicks) might show his post season form a few games sooner and we can steal the division.

Incorrect, both teams play 12 games the same. The bungholes have to play the Pittsburgh Steelers twice, thus making their schedule more difficult.

    I am sorry the Bengals
    still have more talent
    and are division champs
so I would say the Bengals
are the ones to be chasing.
The Red Rifle has been a big dissappointment
    in the playoffs though.

Yes and how this team progressed in the second half of the season i believe they could have challenged the playoff teams that's in cause i'm not all that impressed with what's there. Get us sum playmakers on that D in the off season and Steel City will be a force to be reckoned with. I think were on the edge of making that next run!

The Benglas are loaded, just don't have the right guy under center. Do they stay with Dalton in hopes he raises his game or go in a different direction. If that team had a top tier QB back there, theyd be scary good.

Marvin Lewis is zero for 5 in the playoffs, he is the new Marty Shottenheimer......

Agreed, but it's too early for them to give up on Dalton. They'll give him another couple years at least.

The word NEED should be bold underlined and font size 10000. I wouldn't care about the big plays we gave up this year if they would have created more big plays.

I like attacking defenses that create plays but by design will give them up also. I have no issue with a 50 yard TD pass if we have a sack fumble and or INT in the same game
