I think sitting them is ok but you gotta play em a quarter or a half anyway. But fats just laid down. Kind of tells em it's ok to lose

 

Wonder if the defensive coordinator will be safe...but I don't think this has anything to do with last week, regardless of how much we would like to think it does. The chiefs stopped being competitive following their 9th win. Now 2-6 in those 8 weeks. KC's players were dropping like flies, likely without the rest last week, they aren't as competitive as they were.

 

That's what happens when you coast into the Playoffs.

 

Karma's a beeyotch. Chefs got what they deserved today: another post season L. The 20 year streak continues for those douche nozzles.

 

To quote that great American - Frank Costanza: "Serenity Now!!!!!!!!!!!" Now those weary starters can rest the remainder of the off-season. Brilliant strategy.

 

I might be in the minority here but, I would have done the same thing last week. His backups were a bribed (or completely stupid) ref away from winning. In regulation and OT.

 

I was still hoping that SUCK-UP would miss the potential game-winning field goal.

Even if the Chiefs played their starters against the Chargers it doesn't mean they would've won the game, their chances were better though.

 

I think it did. Remember Indy laid down their last game in 05. We beat them and then beat Denver

 

As much as I love Seinfeld and hate the chiefs you used that line completely wrong and it does not apply to this situation in any way

 

OK I gotta say this. I was on the advance party for my unit Echo 2/4 going to Okinawa. We flew to KC and laid over till our flight to Travis AFB CA. the next day. Then on to Okinawa the next. Kansas City has some beautiful women! Just had to get that out.

 

OK for clarification - I was actually morphing the way I felt when Succop missed his FG last week (and trying to tame my blood pressure) to how I was feeling when the "Chefs" blew their mega-lead today and somehow Frank Costanza screaming those words at the top of his lungs came to mind as well as visualizing Andy Reid being force fed Beeferinos. Not that there's anything wrong with that, eh?

As far as the question whether the Chefs loss today had anything to do with resting all their starters last week - who cares. I just love the irony of it all and hope they enjoyed their total collapse as much as their day off last week.

 

No but it does make it sweeter,lol.
