Steelers draft order

It looks like they will be picking 15th. From what I saw the Bears pick ahead of the Steelers and the Steelers lost to the Bears both with 8-8 records.

 

The Steelers have picked at #15 of the 1st round twice.

Well glad we won lst few meaningless games to pick in the middle rounds...... yess 8-8 is a loosing season

 

We can't afford a #1 overall type pick with our cap anyway.

winning season is when you go to the playoffs ,losing season is when you are at home watching ..this for me

15 is ok for what they need. Matthews is going to go too early anyway, maybe even the 2nd pick. They can get the WR or DB they need at pick 15.

 

Basically yeah. All else is an exercise in futility right? LOL. You know I wonder what players consider a successful season? I mean weren't the 07 Pats ultimately failures? College fans get really irritated at me when they tell me their team had a "successful" season because they made it to a bowl and I say "did they set out to make it to a bowl or to win the national championship?" If the answer is they wanted the championship then are they a success if they fall short of that? There's probably actually a lot of philosophy that goes in to answering that if you think about it. I HATE losing PERIOD but I also HATE not winning the Super Bowl. My wife got mad once because her little brother told me that he got 2nd in his wrestling tourney and I said "well you know that 2nd place is the first loser right?" I was just aggravating him but there is also some truth in that too. As one incredibly wise man once said "anything less than the best is a felony".

 

They need to invest in defense.

Preferably. Unless they can pick something up in FA and keep TP and Ike at a reduced rate.

 

It may not technically BE a losing season but it sure FEELS like one...again.

Me neither. BUT this is not a draft question so I can ask it here. Do you think Cortez is the answer going forward? He definitely has ball skills but he seems a bit slow to me. What do you think?
