The fact that we had to put our postseason chances in the hands of KC's benchwarmers is just downright depressing. Chase Daniel and the KC backups did a helluva job. SD is one and done if the play like they did today....

Problem is that it's only reviewable if you rule a fumble. Anything else and it stands either way. So, why not rule fumble and then sort it out?

 

It is obvious there are issues with the way these plays are officiated. The real problem is the subjectivity of Forward Progress.

Hard to believe they wouldn't review it especially with the helmet coming off.

 

Oh, I'm with you on that. When do you rule he stopped moving forward and when did the helmet come off? I only have the one angle on the game feed and it's hard to tell.
