I can't wait until 7:30 tonight to see this board flocking with cheers. Of course there will be some that wanted a higher draft pick for next season. I'm telling u people the Steelers = Cinderella. This Steelers squad is a unique one and could kick any NFL teams a$$. Wait and see you whiners. The believers will either have eggs on our faces or the none-believers will have sh!t on theirs.

Steelers can and will do this. They are a dangerous team headed into the playoffs you bunch of mofo's!!!! This coaching staff has finally gotten it together. Good luck Steelers!! show the nfl world how it's done. You guys are the best!!!

That's the kinda attitude that's going to send shock waves throughout the nfl today because in the end the Steeler fans are the best!!!

It's not the Steelers that I'm worried about today.
The order is the Steelers will win IMO but

Can NY Jets beat Miami? 45% chance IMO.

Can KC Beat SD with mostly second and third stringers? 35% chance IMO.

Can Bengals beat the Rats? 75% chance IMO.

    Now do the math?

I think the Steelers have about a 8.25% chance of making the playoffs. Certain that this percent is not accurate.

    GO STEELERS, BUNGLES, JETS. CHIEFS!

    WOO HOO!

HERE WE GO STEELERS HERE WE GO!!!!!!!

Oh yea. How dumb of me. That's a full decimal point right there!

82.5% chance of the Steelers making it now!:herewego!:

if everyone swings they're towels, it should create enough turbulence in the atmosphere to send the FG tries of the teams we need beat to sail wide left all day.:cool:

Not trying to be Mr. Negative, but had a dream we gave up a game crippling 80 yd TD, on a 3rd and 18 draw.

Don't usually remember my dreams, so can't even be sure it was vs. the Browns. Maybe it was a playoff/SB opponent ;)

I have a very big dilemma here. Maybe yinz' can help me out.

I never ever take my Terrible Towel(s) out of storage until the playoffs. The way that Myron always wanted it.
I didn't even do it when the Steelers won the SB in 2005 and we needed everything to line up perfectly in which it did.

I always take 1 towel out of Storage per playoff game starting with the 1978 original TT. If we move on a take a second towel of storage and so on and so on. If they make the Super bowl then all the towels are out.

The question is. Do I break with tradition today or not?

If you say yes then I want to here it in your best Myron Cope way of saying it.

I don't think this version of the Steelers, or the odds being so stacked against us, is worth breaking such a long standing tradition. I'd save it for another year.

I'm thinking the same thing. If I do, then they lose I feel I would have jinxed them.

We won't blame you . Plus, what if they win but the other games don't work out? Do you go back to the old tradition or this new one, since they won their game? You'd be messed up for years to come...

Wow! You kiss your mother with that mouth? I certainly hope it happens but Charger fans are saying, almost word for word, what you are about their chances. If all the cards fall the way they need to except KC losing, I will projectile vomit for days!

So if you don't believe in miracles you're a complainer? :hmmm:

    How about optimist vs. realist?

I'm hopeful, but realistically at least one of the other three teams will win knocking us out of contention. I'm glad we kept fighting until the end though. Unfortunately, it's the defense that's let us down this year. The Patriots' game is a glaring example of that. Our offense caught fire and was moving the ball pretty much at will but our D couldn't get a stop. Pretty sad and there needs to be some changes in the off-season. I know DL is highly revered, even by me, but there comes a time to move on. He needs to be given a highly dignified exit.

Who woulda thunk that would be the case given the history of the Steelers defense?

Is it realistic that the Steelers have a chance to make the playoffs? The answer is yes, so why not root for them and hope things work out in our favor?
