I read about blocked field goal in green bay game ryan clark said he could of pick up ball and ran with it but he sprained his ankle earlier in the game which why he just try pass it back so I think if he was able to do that then what happen wouldn't happen

in my mind I think certain player wasnt looking or paying attention when ball being pass around which why nobody able get full control of it Gay I think was last person to maybe get full control but bounce off his chest then rolled behind him which when hood batted ball then which cause pentaly on the play

I even read same article one nfl head review person I think was said this type of play will be talk about in off season so they could maybe change the rule he said he know for sure if play was reviewed able they would of been able to review whether clark had possession of ball he said look like he did but that not and wasn't in the rule

so everything happen and call that was made was mostly what rules is right now and that why call was made on the field at the time

    That was difficult to read.

    But,

He should have never tried to lateral the ball at all.

I'm hoping this is one of those ESL situations.

and the refs should have given him possession. I hope in the offseason they enable in-play possession to be reviewed. I wonder what the logic is to not allow it?

The logic is it's difficult to consider every type of situation when drawing up the rules. I highly doubt they sat around and specifically did not allow review for this type of play, it likely didn't get thought of. I'm sure they'll address it and fix the rule somehow in the off-season

Might be showing my ignorance here, but what does ESL stand for? All I've got is "English as a Second Language".

Possession of the ball is not reviewable that's why Clark got screwed.

Did the NFL <ass-brass admit they messed up, as they do multiple times per week, or were they too busy with lame push in the back fines?

No they said the call was non reviewable but if it was they would have overturned it
So I call them BLIPS from now on
