Pro Bowl Announcement Tonight

I know everyone has their opinions on the Pro Bowl selections, the game itself, and probably the new format. Pro Bowl selections are tonight at 9 on ESPN and NFL Network.

Which Steelers players do you think get selected? Which ones do you think should get selected?

That's pretty much all the Pro-Bowl is anyway. A popularity contest.

 

Wouldn't be surprised to see our Pouncey in with the top-10 centers for the fan voting.

What is this 'Pro Bowl' that you speak of?

 

Suishy has had a nice year, but he doesn't deserve the Pro Bowl. No FG over 50 yards. He is 3rd in FG pct in the AFC, but the two guys in front of him Prater and Folk both have multiple 50 yard kicks. Also Justin Tucker is just behind Suishy and he single handedly kept the Ravens in many games including that 64 yarder and he has made 35 field goals this year. My guess is Folk and Tucker are the top two choices. Some credit is given to Suishy for kicking at Heinz which can be tricky.

Anyway I think AB is the only obvious choice. Ben probably should make it, but my guess is they will give Dalton the nod over Ben because he is close behind Ben in QB Efficiency and Cincinnati has been a formidable offense. Peyton and Rivers are obvious choices.

On defense Troy might make it due to name only and he has had a pretty good year...I do think Timmons is pretty deserving, the guy is tied for 6th in tackles which is the primary job of an ILB, but his low sack total will probably keep him out.

 

I agree with your assessment DC as it seems pretty spot on. Just remember... it's the top 6 QBs in the entire NFL, not 3 from each conference. I think that makes it even harder for Ben to make it.

reverse the team record and Brady still makes it. I'm so tired of the NFL giving Brady the Big T!T.

 

Ben got snubbed. I figured that would happen. He has quietly had a good season. AB deserved it for sure but it's weird that a guy had a record setting, career, type year at RECEIVER makes it but the QB throwing it to him doesn't make it.

 

Why Brady? [sarcasm]Because he is the best ever and putting up great numbers throwing to guys that used to work at Walmart.[/sarcasm]

 

What else is new? LOL. I think also Brady gets in for having such a hot wife. I'm really not sure who's hotter though. I guess it depends on who you ask. I say her but I'm guessing most of our wives would say him.

 

Here we go with this Bullsh!t once again. Guy never gets sacked, great coaches around him, you'll get flagged if you just touch Brady and now he's throwing to bum WR's out of Wal Mart.

Julian Edelman your 1000 yds receiving is not your doing its Brady that caught the ball.
