Leave it to that moron hack florio to make some kind of national enquirer story about team division out of a bit of good Steelers news. What a joke that fool is.

Aside from that, congrats to AB!

    ahh yes

the good old days , when we were 11-4 fixing to beat Cleveland and finish tied with Baltimore to
go out to Dnver and get Tebowed

things will be different this year when we win in Denver

ScottChab set us up, or he received a great amount of beer from Santa :smiley1:

why would a team vote for a MVP before the final game ends? thats like voting for the BB MVP and CY YOUNG winners on labor day? makes now sense to me unless they think the players leave 10 minutes after the final game? no sense to that ..

I bet a lot actually do that. After the final game, it's cleaning out the locker and final coaches meeting. Might as well just get it out of the way when everyone is still around.

While I can see your point....but in reality...I don't see where anything is going to change in one game to make someone vote a different way. If maybe there were 5-6 games left I could see then, but not with one left.

Shoot a handful of games ago you could see it was mainly down to Ben and AB...not many standouts on D...maybe Heyward...Troy here or there....and Worilds? But in reality none of them came close to Ben and AB for the year and what they did even in this crappy season.

It proves the Steelers front office made the right decision letting Mike Wallace leave and signing Brown to a contract extension.

:applaud: good job AB. if he had about 2 more inches of field or wouldn't have looked back, he could have had a franco moment that would have hung around forever.

Speaking of Harrison. What a great move by the FO. Glad to see that they didn't over pay for a guy whose best days were back in 09 and was became injury prone. Haven't heard his name much at all since he left. Steelers have had a tendency to hang on to aging players way past their prime and pay them way too much.

They generally get it right. Rooney said Woodson was the only exception and I think it's safe to say the vast majority agree with him.
